Whitney Walton was a career law enforcement officer and has now transitioned to the private sector as a security leader. For 23 years with the Detroit Police Department, she worked with members of the community, law enforcement and city leadership in roles of increasing responsibility to keep safe both people and property in Detroit, while elevating the quality of life for all.
Four years ago, she transitioned from public service to the private sector as the head of Security for Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s Detroit Refinery, a vital piece of Critical Infrastructure in Southeastern Michigan. She continues her community engagement and serves on several boards directly impacting Southwest Detroit.
