Job Title: Program Manager

Reporting to: Vice President, Programs and Compliance

Summary: The Program Manager oversees the planning, execution, and documentation of
programs aimed at supporting business advocacy, training, and partnership development. This role
is pivotal in driving program outcomes and ensuring compliance with organizational goals and
grant requirements.

Essential Functions:

  1. Program Leadership and Implementation:
    • Deliver, manage, and implement programs supporting business advocacy, training, and
      partnership development. Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve program
      goals and objectives.
  2. Grant Management:
    • Serve as program manager for grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
      Develop and implement plans to meet grant deliverables, reporting progress on grant-
      related activities.
  3. Quality Assurance and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure program quality, consistency, and integrity.
      Align engagement efforts with organizational goals through cross-functional
      collaboration.
  4. Business Engagement Strategies:
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage businesses in economic growth, job creation,
      and sustainability efforts.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive data records for programs, ensuring accuracy and
      accessibility. Prepare detailed compliance reports outlining program outcomes and
      impacts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting for all program activities.
  6. Financial Management, Fundraising, and Content Creation:
    • Oversee program budgets, including planning, monitoring, and reporting. Conduct
      research and implement strategies for fundraising and securing sponsorships to support
      program initiatives. Prepare organizational content for various platforms, adhering to
      communication best practices.

Experience/Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or community
    development setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in grant management, financial management, and fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business advocacy, training, and partnership development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field or
    equivalent level of experience and education.
  • Spanish language proficiency helpful.

Work Schedule:

Employment/Contract

  • Full time – 37.5 hours/week, five days a week, M-F, Hybrid, 3 days/week minimum in the Office
  • Part time – 24 hours/week, three days a week, In-Person Office Schedule. Hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours based on workload and events.
