Bonding and Education Program and the Regional Meeting
In conjunction with the UDOT and MDOT, Southwest Detroit Business Association, attended the graduation of the 6th Cohort of the Bonding and Education Program. Paving the Way Program participants accounted for 16 graduates of this cohort. We are proud that they have tools to help navigate to more growth and capacity in their business development. They met with key agents in bonding, insurance, accounting, and local procurement. They are better prepared to be competitive in public contracting. These graduates will be honored at the Michigan DBE Conference in March 2018 and will be invited to private networking events with prime contractors at the MI-TA (Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association) Annual Conference as well as the DBE Conference.
